United Kogi State Is Not A Tribalised Political Campaign

As Kogi state governorship election draws nearer a group called Kogi all support groups for Ododo and Joel.

The group leader Obaje David said that the group is a collaboration of various Apc Kogi state support groups that worked for the success of the party’s last general elections, they thank God for the success recorded and the unquantifiable contributions of Governor Yahaya Bello and said it is time to do it again, come 11 November 2023 election

The group called on the citizens of Kogi to know that Kogi belong to all tribes saying there is no superior or inferior tribe in the state

The group makes this known to journalists today in a press briefing in lokoja the state capital

The group leader Obaje David calls on all citizens of Kogi to reject any candidate that is promoting tribal war among the people, saying that it lacks proper developmental agenda that is their base and appeals to security agencies to arrest those promoting hate speech

According to him, we have confidence continuity would secure democracy, hence there is a need to mobilize the people to vote en mass for the governorship candidate of Apc in Kogi state is sacrosanct. he said that with the numerous growth and development of Governor Yahaya Bello cut across three senatorial districts of the state

He added that especially in the areas of security, education, health, roads construction, and reconstruction; harmonious relationships among the three arms of government, women’s inclusiveness, and youth empowerment, equitable distribution of appointments among the three senatorial districts

The group task the citizenry of Kogi to support the candidature of Ododo and Oyibo of APC come the November 11th, 2023 governorship election, assuring that we are confident of victory as we continue to mobilize, campaign and putting personal resources to ensure overwhelming victory for the party

The group appealed to kogi state Governor Bello to consider putting forward an executive bill that will mandate the rotation of the governorship position among the three senatorial Districts, noting that this belief will reduce the current seeming inter-tribal tension in the state, thereby fostering unity

They encouraged the citizens of Kogi state to come out in their numbers to vote for Usman Ododo and Joel Oyibo in the coming 11 November governorship election in the state
