In Kogi West, East, and Central, the revered Royal Fathers; the Ata Igala, Ohinoyi of Ebira Land, Ohimegye Igu Koton Karfe, Aguma of Bassa Kwomu, Etsu Bassa-Nge, and Obaro of Kabba all poured libations on Kolanuts and pronounced blessings on the candidature of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in the November 11th gubernatorial election. They want Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to succeed as does the larger majority of Kogi State.

As the sun shone, so did many teeth in company to the palaces.

A scented candelabra strained with the allure of positivity curtained the visitations as the sea of good heads in accompaniment of the candidate gave the aura of victory as pronounced by the royalties. The gods themselves spoke and it was clear where the minds of the deities are. They are obviously rooting for Ododo to succeed.

The mesaage was clear. The heads of traditional institutions dine and wine with the deities unseen. They must be formally informed and their blessings sought. The blessing poured like a downpour, it guahed aplenty, Ododo and his team drank as the smiles confirm their nods for him to go forth and take victory come the pollls.

June is here. June is when the campaigns properly kick into gear and the royal benedictions would come handy. There is no doubt a better Kogi would be born, a consolidation on the current democratic gains being experienced.

Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is raising positive men of influence with tumultuous crowd from all parts of the state which obviously were witnessed during his visitations to the Royal Palaces; signifying the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate’s acceptability across-the-board.

His humility, and courteousness sold him wholeheartedly to the Royal Fathers and the people of Kogi state. A youth in his prime is what Ododo is, but his preparedness to lead through the hunger he showed is also obvious. A charmer in true character and nature.

One after another, all parts of Kogi State would experience a touch of Ododo’s midas touch, during the campaigns and during his administration in the state.

The electorate are set to receive the person of Ododo just as is the candidate himself to receive and govern the entire state towards ensuring sustainable development.
