…. Kogi SSG charged Kogite to continue to pray for the candidate’s victory at the poll.
The Secretary to the Kogi state government Dr. Folashade Ayoade said no stone would be left unturned toward achieving peaceful polls and assuring victory for Usman Ahmed Ododo, the Apc governorship candidate in the forthcoming November 11 election.
Ayoade started this at a special prayer session held by Christians and Muslims faithful at the government house Christian chapel and mosque.
The special prayer session was organized by the Avoyi team for Ododo 2023 with members cut across the state and government officials
Dr. Folashade said prayer is a master key to success in everything, stressing that prayer is geared towards the success of the November 11 governorship election and the victory of the Apc flag heard.
While pointing out that prayer is to perfect all that has to do with the November governorship election, she expressed optimism that Usman Ododo will win the awesomely, peaceful, and credible election.
The Secretary to the Kogi state government urged the Kogite to pray and support the Apc candidate, adding that he has all it takes to move the state forward after Governor Yahaya Bello.
And she also prayed to God to grant All progressives Congress flag bearers sound health before, during, and after the campaigns, saying that all the indications from supporters across the state are the fact that the Apc candidate will win overwhelmingly.
In his remarks, government House Christian chapel pastor Henry Asarapo said prayer is the foundation and ingredients needed for a peaceful Kogi state governorship election, urging the people of the state to sustain their prayers for peaceful polls.
Earlier the officiating minister, special Apostle Tobi described prayers as the beginning of a great process toward the November governorship election and the period that would be great for the people of the state.
Also speaking the chief Iman of the government house mosque, Ustaz Bashiru Ohu, disclose that prayers have always been the sword of believers, adding that it is important at the beginning of a project such as the forthcoming November governorship election.
He commended the Avoyi team for Ododo, stressing that prayers could not have come at a better time than now,

The convener and the Team leader, Hon Billie Avoyi Nwogu said the prayers are geared toward a peaceful Kogi state governorship election and the victory of the Apc candidate Ahmed Usman Ododo
Avoyi added that the effort is to seek God’s divine intervention for the victory of the candidate
Hon Avoyi expressed optimism that the Apc Frontier will win awesomely in the November governorship election, adding that he has all the credentials to make the state an enviable height if elected.
