Kogi Guber: Abejide Assures Igala/Bassa Of Rapid Infrastructural Development

As the Kogi governorship election draws closer, the Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Elder Leke Abejide, has pledged to initiate rapid infrastructural development of the Eastern senatorial district of the state.

Speaking to different support groups from Igala-Bassa land in Lokoja the capital on Friday, Abejide reaffirmed his pledge to pay the West African Examination Council (WAEC) fees for all students across the 21 LGAs in the state this year.

He also promised to make Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba to international standard and tackle the erosion menace in Igala land.

The ADC governorship candidate said with his experience as a successful exporter, he will develop the vast cashew market in the Eastern flank of the state.

While assuring his supporters of their safety before, during, and after the election, adding that President Bola Tinubu is committed to a free, fair, and credible election in the state.

Addressing the large crowd of supporters that gathered at the party’s campaign office the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party, Dr. Idris Omede said the ADC ticket is the best option for Kogi state.

Omede, former National President of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), expressed optimism that Abejide’s capacity will turn the fortunes of Kogi state around.
