
Ahead of the Kogi State Apc governorship primary elections slated for April 15th, 2023, one of the leading and credible candidates from the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku, has been endorsed by Kogi Youths Orientation Alliance.
Endorsing Asuku’s candidature at a press conference held in Lokoja, Kogi State, the spokesperson of the group,
Isreal Ebiloma said the youths chose to support Asuku because he has shown to be the most credible and competent among the governorship candidates.
Israel, who described the former Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello as a loyal party chieftain, said: “For the continuity of Gov Yahaya Bello’s legacies, Asuku remains the best man to sustain and build upon the achievements of his Boss, especially in the area of infrastructure, Security and youth empowerment”.
Any disconnection may affect the development plan of our dear state.

He stressed that with what Asuku is already doing with his Foundation, Kogite can be assured that youth employment, human and infrastructure development, commercial agriculture, free and compulsory basic education, tourism development, robust healthcare delivery, and reformed civil service will be the kernel and policy thrust of Asuku administration.
He described Asuku as a man with an emblem of impeccable intelligence and the charisma to govern the good people of the state.
Israel further disclose that “After a close examination of other contestants for the seat of the governor of Kogi State, we have seen Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku of the ruling party, APC as the most qualified, matured, and experienced person to continue from the incumbent governor, as Asuku has developed capacity for the same over the years as an active politician.”
Israel appealed that:” APC in the state must remain united and be careful about what they say about each other because of the primary election, at the end of the day, opposition parties will be waiting to catch in on that.
He, therefore, appealed to the leadership of the party both at the national and the State levels to create a level playing ground for all aspirants in the State because the outcome of the primary election would determine the performance and chances of the party in its quest to win the Governorship election slated for November 2023.
Israel further urged APC party agents across the state to back Asuku’s aspiration, branding him as the best for the state among the aspirants parading themselves for the coveted seat
