In the spirit of today’s Friday (Jummaah), it is pertinent we remind ourselves that we are one indivisible and indissoluble Kogites devoid of ethnic and Religious sentiments.
The efforts of the naysayers in emphasizing and re–emphasizing on the things that separate us and dismiss our areas of unity is sad and it is the All Progressive Congress ( APC) Governorship candidate Ododo Ahmed Usman’s purposeful Leadership to outrightly frowns at whatever is capable of disuniting us as one people.
Our unity does not mean that everyone must agree on everything. It only means that Kogi people can respect each other’s differences and work together despite mild disagreement in views. As a State, we must acknowledge and appreciate the different viewpoints and experiences that each member brings to the table. This can lead to more open and respectful communication and a stronger sense of community among us.
From us at “Fancy Media Team”, it’s our resolve to come together with a shared purpose that can assist us to achieve greater impact by unifying Kogi citizens be resistance to any religious and parochial ethnic sentiments – and with our collective efforts to speak as a stronger and more cohesive voice.
With all of us, irrespective of our diversity working the goal of making Kogi better is not without challenges, and the politically diverse community that Kogi is, is no exception. However, a state that is united in its purpose is better equipped to overcome whatever those challenges may be. The people are more resilient, better able to adapt to changing circumstances, and can draw on each other’s strengths to find solutions to problems.
No doubt, unity is essential in any diverse society such that Kogi State today because it helps us to achieve our common goals, respect each other’s diversity, have a greater impact, and overcome whatever challenges that come our way.
We are moving forward as a state with Ododo as the man equipped to take over the leadership of the state come January 2024.
